The ASI 0404-Z Stainless Steel Recessed Heavy-Duty Soap Dish is intended for installation in showers and sink areas with any type of wall surface. For proper installation, a rough opening that measures 5-1/4 inches in width by 5-1/4 inches in height by 3 inches in depth is required. Crafted from die cast rust-proof Zamac, the unit are outfitted with both two dimpled holes for drywall mounting and two perforated lugs for wetwall mounting. Designed to accommodate a standard soap bar, he body of the unit is free of seams, thanks to its drawn, one-piece construction. For maximum durability, the Zamac is triple plated with copper, nickel and chrome. The final chrome surface is polished until it has a mirror finish. A retaining lip is included in the design to prevent the soap from falling onto the floor of the shower or into the sink.
